Welcome to my travel blog and the page where you can find out all about me.
I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, moving to Brisbane, Australia, when I turned 21 years old. I worked in banking in New Zealand and then started working in banking again in Australia. I would take spend my holidays overseas, exploring countries and cultures around the world, but time and money came before travel. Fortunately, the travel bug had bitten me.
After banking, I became a carer to my parents, before that chapter of my life ended. I now travel again, but this time it’s full-time.
I’ve wanted to start a travel blog for the last few years, but time and inspiration just weren’t there. Now that I’m travelling and staying in hostels, I’m getting asked what to do out and about around New Zealand, and me being me, I’ll sit and talk about the places I’ve loved.
That was the right time to start the blog and keep a reference for fellow travellers on the places I have visited.
